New recipe!: Healthy Deviled Eggs

Hi hi 👋

Okay I don’t say this about everything… but these have been in my fridge on repeat lately.

Like I make a batch, they disappear, and then I’m making them again. My girls love them, I love them, and Eric literally left half of one last night because he felt bad eating the last one.

They’ve kind of turned into one of those go-to things I always keep on hand for when I realize I haven’t actually eaten anything all day (mom life 🫠).

I’ve always loved hard boiled eggs, but the kids don’t love them… so this is basically a little hard boiled egg glow up for snack time and suddenly everyone’s in. These really only take an extra 5 minutes to mix up and throw together, its the hard boiled/peeling part that takes the most time, y'kno?

You know that moment where you’re like… wait, why do I feel off? Oh. I need protein.

Yeah. These fix that real quick.

NEW RECIPE: Healthy Deviled Eggs

These are creamy, tangy, and still taste like the classic version…

I swap in a little cottage cheese (trust me you can’t taste it) and it makes them extra creamy while adding a lil protein boost.

why these are on repeat at my house:

  • easy little protein snack you can grab anytime
  • make ahead and keep in the fridge
  • kid approved (multiple ten year olds have given me two thumbs up, which honestly feels like a victory?)
  • and they disappear FAST

also… filing this under Easter 🐣

If you’re already thinking about what to bring or make…

These are:

  • lighter than traditional deviled eggs
  • make-ahead friendly
  • and still the first thing gone every single time
  • need something to make after the kids dye a ton of easter eggs?

aka you show up with these and win Easter without even trying

If you make these, I need to know…

are you a “just one” deviled egg person
or a “I lost count” person 😅

If you make these or any other recipes, don't forget to share on Instagram and tag my @theskinnyishdish so I can see!

Love to see what you're making.

I know I can't be the only one who gets into the thick of summer and suddenly has absolutely no idea what to make for dinner anymore, like I barely want to even step foot in the kitchen. It's waaaay too hot to turn on the oven, nobody wants a heavy meal especially after a day outside, but for some reason, everyone still needs to eat more than random handfuls of pretzels with peanut butter out of the pantry (although some days im perfectly fine with that). So here are a few easy meals I...

grilled chicken in a skillet covererd with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and pesto

Hi friend! Mother’s Day is this weekend, and I’m just going to say it: if you are the mom, you should not have to be in the kitchen (unless you want to!), grocery shopper, cook, dishwasher, and emotional support snack provider this weekend. That feels illegal. Or at the very least.. a lil rude! So I pulled together a few easy Skinnyish Dish recipes that would be perfect for Mother’s Day weekend. Not necessarily fancy brunch with tiny flowers and linen napkins, because honestly, that is not...
